{Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement – Fields which contains ‘ is not returned in Search}

Happy Evening. Hope everyone is fine. It’s been a while i haven’t written any posts. Super busy in office and personal stuffs.

Recently, we were facing that Search on a field is not returning specific record. After deeper investigations, we found that records which has ‘Apostrophe’s are not returned. Even though, if we give exact name as in the record.

Example: O’Briens


  1. While searching replace ‘ with *
  2. Utilize the global search
  3. Use classic interface

Note: This issue occurs only in the Unified Interface.
